At GiddyGlove PARC, we focus on building Asset-Based Character Skills for Success in students, both at school and in life. We help young people develop Social Competence and Emotional Resilience, essential skills that empower them to overcome adversity and succeed. By using play, particularly through A’Round Chess, we engage students in developing critical life skills.

Grounded in youth development research, we provide positive developmental assets that foster social-emotional learning, resilience, and character strengths. Our approach supports K-12 educators, youth service providers, families, and the community, creating equitable relationships and opportunities for adults who care to help young people thrive. We believe that when young people have more assets, they are more likely to build resilience, succeed in school, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
